Baptism Preparation helps parents and godparents understand the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism and the responsibility of raising a child in the Catholic faith. During the preparation sessions, participants learn about the symbols and rites of Baptism, the role of parents and godparents, and the importance of nurturing a lifelong relationship with Christ and His Church.

Parents are encouraged to begin the preparation process before scheduling their child's Baptism. Both parents and godparents should attend the required preparation class.
